Half a million bread bag tags were collected for charity by school children in Zululand, reports the Zululand Observer: An amazing effort by all accounts.  Ironically, in Australia 1 Million Bread Bag Tags are reportedly fished from the Brisbane River every week! Clearly, if those responsible for dumping the plastic into the river could just collect and re-use instead, energy and resourses could be redirected so much more efficiently.
