Our Team Green driver, Red Cyclo, is transforming the way that he travels as well as the road that he follows. His quad bike that transformed into a motorcycle which then turned into an buggy has now morphed into a go-kart. Each time Red stops he picks up discarded rubbish and adds it to the vehicle. By cleaning up the mess he adds a new dimension and greater power to his vehicle for free. Being on the racing circuit it's not surprising that he's found a lot of discarded circular objects and added them to the beast he's grown very attached to. The machine is improving at no extra cost to Red, AND he's offsetting carbon emissions. The only problem seems to be that because of the circular quality of its new machine parts Red tends to go round and round in circles. Red Cyclo: A re-cycler by name and a re-cycler by nature.
I thought the last 2 were great but this is amazing - such a clever idea, adding to it as you go. How much more can he collect and how many times can he change, that's a challenge!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for the encouragement and the challenge. I'm sure Red Cyclo will continue to collect and re-use, so for him to benefit from what others throw away isn't an impossible challenge. Perhaps this challenge should not only be aimed at Red, but at everyone who reads this. If we all followed Red's example I'm sure there would be a lot less waste to worry about.
