Man's Best Friend

In the age of the computer where convenience and reliability are key drivers of much change, relationships between man, beast and the environment are also brought into question. Not only do we now have genetically modified vegetables, but genetically modified animals reared for their meat are finding their way into our diets too. With such drastic changes as these, is the long-standing relationship between man and his trusty canine friend going to survive?

Lost in Space

Ordinarily, those who are shot into space have no use for parachutes nor expect any kind of safety net. This is cerainly the case for Buzz Nozzle. Buzz and his trusty jarheads are the team of astronozz leading the way in a new program of space exploration. The program aims to discover new materials, environments or, at worst, new dumping grounds to alleviate the pressure on Earth's limited resources. This program is certainly controversial, but the spokesperson for the mission was convinced it couldn't fail. "Even if the astronozz team doesn't make it back to Earth, we will have at least a little less plastic to deal with here."

Sitting on the Dock of the Bay

Actually, Otis The Owl isn't sitting on the dock of the bay. Instead he's sitting on a wok in dismay, as he looks on unable to help. His friend Pogo The Penguin has got himself into some very hot water this time. Chased away by fire-breathing Duncan The Dragon for waking him up early from a very deep sleep, Pogo leapt for cover into the metal pan. I hope you have been following closely and are prepared for the idiomatic twist to this Castaways tale - 'out of the fire and into the frying pan'. Don't worry though, as all Castaways are made of highly durable plastic, no Characters were harmed in the making of this silly story.

Dolphin-headed Dope?

He has an innocent smile and looks rather stupid, but that dolphin-like forehead may suggest a much higher level of intellect. This goes to show that you simply can't judge a castaway by appearances.
